Contact theGuide
Corrections, listing updates and suggestions all go to one address, and every message is read.
Email is the only contact route — there is no phone line and no office on the island. Everything sent to that address is read.
What to send
- A correction. Wrong hours, closed business, changed fee, a trail that is shut. Include the page and, if you can, the source.
- A listing update. If you own a restaurant, rental or tour business on the island and something on the site is out of date.
- A suggestion. A page that should exist and does not — a beach access point, an event, a service visitors keep asking about.
- A photo. Original island photography is always welcome. Tell us where and when it was taken.
What to expect
Corrections to factual details — hours, prices, schedules — are usually updated within a week. Listing requests and new page suggestions take longer, and not everything gets added: the guide stays short on purpose.
Not for emergencies
This is a visitor guide, not an information line. For emergencies call 911. For the police non-emergency line on the island, call 251-861-5523. For beach or ferry conditions on the day, contact the ferry operator or the Town of Dauphin Island directly.
